And I wanted to pay the good thoughts forward and give everybody that wasn't able to be here a little video review of Elizabeth's day at Sea World. So to everybody who wished me well, I appreciate it very much and here's a small thank you in video format of everyone's favorite cheekyface.
Our first stop of the day was literally the carousel. We got to the park around 1:15 and were on the carousel around 1:45. So Babyface was in a good mood and enjoying the heck out of the ride, which you'll just have to take my word for until you see the end of the video.
And because there was nobody on the carousel (literally, the line consisted of about 7 people), we decided to let her ride again. Keep a close eye out for the killer Piranha. And the ever more dangerous stationary bench.
After the carousel, Jen and Cheeks went to get a diaper change and a snack, while Mikey and I absolutely owned the game stands. I hit three of four basketball shots to win 3 prizes, and we each won a stuffed animal during a few games of skeeball. None of this made the video unfortunately. We then proceeded to the Penguin Encounter, keep a close eye out in this one for a mysterious "macaroni" cameo. If I had been able to find a fish called a "Midler" and somehow combined a shot with 'Macaroni Midler' I think my head would have exploded from awe.
We then proceeded to ride the weirdest ride I've ever been on, Journey Into Atlantis. Only Mikey and I rode, so no video, but needless to say it was a water ride with video effects from the 1980s (generously speaking) and it soaked one of my shoes. In between the walk from Atlantis to Manta, we had a bathroom break with today's debut of Tonguey in a leading role.
Then we finished up the day on Manta, which Babyface really enjoyed watching. The only downside of today was that there was a Manta Video Part One, which was really good, that was somehow corrupted between taking the video and uploading it. So when you hear me say "Now it's part two", you didn't miss anything and I'm not losing my mind. The froggy was one of the greatest toys we had ever seen and she did enjoy "hiding" behind it.
For Manta Part Three (the threepeat), the froggy was now a horrible creature that deserved to die, so his shunning was unexpected. More enjoyment of the coaster going by and general happiness follows:
And now, the final video of the day. Jen and Mikey were gone for a little while on the ride and watching the coaster go by had lost some of it's luster. So we headed into the Manta aquarium for a while and really enjoyed the fishies. Keep a lookout for the surprise villain baby-stealer for our stirring climax.
I've had a few really good days in a row, hopefully this helps to make someone's day better. Cheeks had a really good day.
