Sitting Up

Dear Internets,

It has recently come to my attention that Some People do not believe that I can truly sit up. Just because I put up the picture of Gravity attacking me on my blog. Some People call it "balancing before I fall over." Well, I've got news for you, Some People! Sitting up is Balancing!

And of course, I fall over sometimes! When someone learns to walk, they do not immediately stand up and walk to the park or the grocery store without ever falling down again. They do some steps and then they have an Attack of Gravity and then they try, try again. (What is this Walking, anyway? Is that something I should look into?)

So, I present you with some pictures. Lots of pictures. Lots of pictures of me sitting up without being Attacked by Gravity.

Here I am, sitting up and patting the carpet with my hands. The carpet is fuzzy, if you were wondering.
I leaned over here 'cause I was watching my dog. I do my best sitting up in the mornings when my Mommy and I play fetch with my dog Trin. I do not think that Daddy or Scrooby doggie knows that we play fetch every morning. It happens before their Business Hours when they are still having a little snooze.

My Mommy sometimes guards me with her legs, in case of Gravity Attack.

See, she's still guarding me.

Here I am, looking at my toeses. Toeses are very fascinating, you know.
I told Mommy to throw the toy for Trin dog again, 'cause that is very exciting, when Trin dog goes to get it and brings it back for us.

When I get real excited, I wave my arms up and down like this.

Sees? I can totally Do It! I do Sit Up, no matter what Some People may think.

Love,

Elizabeth

  3. Dear Elizabeth the Great,

We never ever for a moment doubted your ability to sits. You do it better than us because we get far too distracted to stay upright for long.

That's our story and we're sticking with it.

Also our Mama says we got some very very awesomely nice onesies and that we should say thank you because the sizes are perfect (tall AND titch!) and the message is so funny and she has been into a whole bag of coffee already too. We're all very happy, in summary.

Finally also, feets are where it's at, we're glad you agree and guess what? Our Dada is going to a conference in Louisiana in october and Mama said can we come meet you, too and he said YES.

    How's that for awesome?

    xo
