Tricks and Treats

Boo!

Hi, internet! Did I scare you? GOOD! You are supposed to jump on Halloweenie.

Do you not know about Halloweenie? I will tell you all about what to do.

First, you get dressed up as a pumpkin baby, instead of a regular baby. Since it is a Holiday, you can make an exception to your No Hat rule.
Mama says to tell you that even though it is practically November, it is still warm enough for bare toeses.
So, now that you are all dressed up as a baby pumpkin, you start the Halloween festivities.
I went to my Nanny and Pops house to see their dog and swim in their pool. The pool was a little chilly today though, so I didn't stay in long.
Then, since I do have to remain loyal to the No Hat rule, I took my hat off during lunchy and hid it under my high chair tray, to make sure that Mama would forget it.

She foiled me though, she made me wear a green hair ribbon to be my Stem instead!

This is me, doing something AMAZING called Trick-or-Treating! Mama and Dada and I went outside and I walked by myself the whole way and we went in the road and we went next door and the nice lady next door put a CANDY in my bag! It was the most spectacular thing that has happened to me when I was dressed as a baby pumpkin.

Mama says that since I am only ten months old, I only got to go to one house for Trick-or-Treating and then we went home.

I did not want to go home.

Trick-or-treating was FUN! I wanted to do more! I wanted to walk, in the STREET, and look at the other kids and get the candies in my bag. So I yelled a bit.

Then I remembered that I had a candy in my bag. It is delicious!
Here is me, eating my candy!
Then Mama took the wrapper off and it was even MORE delicious with the wrapper off. Mama didn't quite share fairly though. I only got a little bitty bite of this truly amazing invention called a kit kat and Mama ate the rest.

It wasn't fair.

But then, my dog-hot-dog Trin and I examined this lollipop (Mama says they are even more delicious with the wrapper off too, but that I can discover that when I am Bigger) and we helped Mama answer the door lots.
Lots and lots of babies and kids came to our house and got some treats. I went to the door every single time, under my own steam, to check everything out. I wanted to go outside with the babies and kids and walk in the street some more, but Mama is Mean.

So I cuddled Dada.
It was a Mostest Fun day.

More chocolate, Mama!

Love and Happy Halloweenie,

Elizabeth the baby Pumpkin!

  2. Elizabeth,

We think we should dress up and eat candy, too.
