Splish Splash

It's me again! Elizabeth the Great!

Here is the story of my first bath. It happened a long, long time ago. I was only two weeks old! (I had to wait for my belly button to be all ready.)

At first, I was confused and a little suspicious of this whole water thing.
If you don't believe that I look suspicious, you can click on the picture and it will get much bigger!

Then, I realized that warm water is lots of fun!
I can kick my legs! I can try to swim! I can try to stick my head backwards so that I can put it all the way under water. I haven't been able to do that yet though. Someone always stops me from having that much fun. Something about not being able to breathe under water? It makes no sense to me!

I can splash my arms and make waves. See the waves?

It wasn't as much fun to get out of the tub. That made me cold! So, I screamed really loud to let Mommy and Daddy know that I wanted to get back in.
They just wrapped me up in a towel though. Sometimes they are mean. This towel does have a built in hat though, so it wasn't all bad. And I got to suck on my fist.

After my bath, I got dressed and wrapped up in a warm fuzzy blanket. It was a fun first bath.

  1. It looks like the bath wore her out. She is nicely wrapped up.
